Philosophy

At Altamonte Child Development Center, we believe that early childhood education is a critical foundation for a child’s lifelong learning and development. Our philosophy centers around creating a play-based environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity. We recognize that every child is unique, and we strive to tailor our approach to meet the individual needs and abilities of each child.

As a Spanish bilingual program, we believe in the value of language immersion and the many benefits it can offer children, including enhanced cognitive development, cultural awareness, and increased communication skills. We are committed to creating a learning environment that embraces diversity and promotes inclusivity, and we work to ensure that every child feels valued and supported in our program.

Our approach to early childhood education is based on the latest research and best practices in the field, and we are committed to ongoing professional development and learning. We believe that children learn best when they are engaged, motivated, and challenged, and we strive to provide a curriculum that is both stimulating and developmentally appropriate. Above all, we are dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential.

Location

We are located in a school childcare facility that includes a nice playground. Near a residential neighborhood!

About our program

Altamonte Child Development Center is a nurturing and intimate preschool in Albuquerque that has been providing high-quality education since 2007. We are committed to creating a warm and welcoming environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. Our center is designed to foster a sense of community and belonging, and our dedicated staff work tirelessly to provide a safe, supportive, and engaging learning experience for all our students.

We offer two Pre-K classrooms, with approximately 20 students in each, which allows for personalized attention and a tailored curriculum that meets each child’s unique needs and abilities. In addition to our Pre-K program, we also provide before and after-school care, ensuring that working parents have the peace of mind they need while their children are in our care. At Altamonte Child Development Center, we are passionate about early childhood education, and we are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where children can grow and learn.
