Philosophy

We believe that play is the primary source of learning, so our program curriculum is based on “play” being the work of children. Through play, children can actively engage in making their own choices, experiment with new materials, and explore new ideas promoting their physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual development.

The New Mexico Early Learning Guidelines are used as a framework to assess children’s growth, development, and learning. These guidelines were designed to provide reasonable expectations for children at different ages so that our early childhood professionals have criteria to refer to as they observe children in action, determine their levels of performance and plan curricular interventions to help them grow, develop and learn to their fullest potential. The Bible is used to teach basic Christian values and character. We let the children’s interest and needs guide our curriculum planning. Our teachers create experiences that help the children grow and develop. Through these experiences’ children build a skill base that ensures they are adequately prepared for kindergarten.

This location is an ideal spot for a childcare program for several reasons. Firstly, it is a safe and secure neighborhood that offers a sense of comfort and tranquility to parents leaving their children in the care of others. Secondly, the community has a population of families with young children, indicating a high demand for quality childcare services. Additionally, the area has good infrastructure, including accessible transportation routes and amenities such as parks and playgrounds, which enhance the program’s offerings. Finally, the location is in close proximity

About our program

We strive to provide a quality educational program that honors Jesus Christ. Our program is taught from a Biblical perspective aimed at integrating Christian values and character into the lives of children, equipping them for their life.

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and that God created each child unique. Because each child grows and develops at their own pace, we strive to meet the needs of each child individually. We believe that children learn through play. Our teachers act as learning facilitators providing the children with both teacher-directed and child-directed activities that guide them educationally and spiritually.

We believe that children strive to meet the expectations that the adults in their lives set for them, so we expect children to behave in a Christian manor. We encourage and teach the Fruit of the Spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, and Self-Control.

We believe that families are their child’s primary teachers and that families are responsible for setting a Godly example for their children not just by their words but also by their actions. We feel that together, we must do our best to develop positive relationships to help each child thrive at our centers. It is our goal to provide encouragement, support, and enrichment to each child and their family when needed.

Our physical environment provides organized learning centers for children to explore providing numerous opportunities for children to develop physically, socially, emotionally, cognitively, and spiritually in every area.
