Philosophy
JoAnne’s Daycare believes that each child should be allowed to develop the skills that will enable them to be successful. We believe each child should have the freedom to pursue all aspects that are of interest to the individual child and to explore new and different experiences with a group through a combination of art and play. Reasoning, questioning, and problem solving with positive guidance from our staff is considered imperative in our staff’s quest for the best possible education your child receives in a pre-kindergarten setting. Our staff is educated and experienced in childcare. To remain at the top of the field we invest time and money for educating our staff. We are always interested in new techniques that have been developed by other professionals in the field of childcare to give our children a positive learning experience. We believe that children acquire the basic learning concepts by being involved in a curriculum that provides them with the opportunity to create a unique place with our daycare. We provide this opportunity by using art, dramatic play, sand and water, exploration both indoor and outdoor, as well as math, science, literacy, health, and social concepts.
About our program
Hello, my name is Joanne, for the past 20 years I’ve been providing childcare in my home. I have a caring and patient husband, four grown children and three grandchildren. I enjoy cooking, reading, art, exploring nature, taking long walks and spending time with my family and friends. In my daycare program we provide a loving, safe environment as well as enriching opportunities to meet the needs of all children. I am licensed through the state of New Mexico. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday 6 AM to 6 PM. We will transport children to and from school if needed. We follow CDC guidelines to ensure a clean, safe environment. We also serve healthy meals and snacks to all children.
