Philosophy

We believe that fostering a child’s intrinsic desire to learn is essential in their early development journey. By nurturing their curiosity and creating a supportive, safe environment, we aim to instill a passion for learning that will empower them to grow into confident, capable individuals. Our approach focuses on addressing the holistic needs of every child, promoting self-esteem, overall well-being, and a positive attitude towards learning through hands-on experiences and expressive activities.

About our program

Smarty Pants is a cognitively based pre-school centered on the principle of children learning using all of their academic senses. Sutton-Smith states in _The playful modes of knowing, _that “as children play, they construct an understanding of their world. They explore their environment and the objects and people in it. . .”

We strive to accommodate families in offering a flexible schedule of days and times available for their children to attend classes. We offer half day and full day classes 5 days a week. We work to prepare children for social and emotional skills as well as academic preparation they will utilize in kindergarten and beyond.

If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start host tours again in the future.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/smarty-pants-preschool-7936/apply – note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.
