Philosophy
At Seedlings Childcare, we believe that every child is unique and deserves to be treated with respect, kindness, and patience. Our philosophy is rooted in the understanding that early childhood is a critical time for developing foundational skills and positive relationships. We aim to create a nurturing, home-like environment where children feel safe, valued, and supported in their journey of self-discovery.
We embrace a play-based learning approach, where children actively explore, create, and engage with the world around them through hands-on activities. We believe that play is the most effective way for young children to learn, as it fosters curiosity, problem-solving, and social interaction. Our activities are designed to meet the individual needs of each child while encouraging their natural sense of wonder and creativity.
We are committed to building strong, trusting partnerships with families, recognizing that parents and caregivers are children’s first teachers. We value open communication and work together with families to ensure that each child’s emotional, social, and cognitive development is supported in a holistic way.
At Seedlings Childcare, we honor each child’s individuality, promote positive behavior, and encourage respect for others. We strive to cultivate a love of learning, a sense of community, and an appreciation for the world around us, all while fostering a joy-filled, supportive atmosphere where children can grow to their fullest potential.
About our program
At Seedlings Childcare our days are filled with playtime, story time, music, arts and crafts, outside play, walks, and hands-on sensory activities. We have a large indoor and outdoor area for children to play, we spend a great deal of our time outdoors.
Our home daycare is a place where children are encouraged to explore, discover, and develop socially, emotionally, and cognitively. With a balance of structured activities, creative play, and outdoor time, we aim to foster curiosity and instill confidence. Whether it’s through reading a favorite book, building with blocks, or simply sharing a laugh, every day here is an opportunity for growth.
I am committed to maintaining open communication with all families and ensuring that your child’s experience is both enjoyable and enriching. If you ever have questions, concerns, or would like to discuss your child’s development, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Together, we can create the best experience for your child.
