Testimonials
We have known Rosa for over 5 years. We have two young boys that she has cared for within this period of time. One of them she has cared for since he was 3 months old. Both are now in school. She has built a trustworthy relationship with us through her caring, honest, communicative service. She is very professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. She has not only cared for our kids, but she also helped them prepare for kindergarten by various educational activities that initiated the development of their skills. To include coloring, writing, arts and crafts and many more. I have visited her home and was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and organized area she has dedicated for her kids. The relationship she has with the boys is truly amazing and priceless. They love her and want to visit her every chance they get, that provides my wife and I peace of mind that they are well taken care of and happy to spend time with her. Rosa has truly gone above and beyond in accommodating us with our busy schedule. I strongly recommend her services to anyone looking for their child to be taken care of. We can’t imagine life without her love and support that she has provided to our boys and for that we are extremely grateful. Jesse & Belinda Vasquez 02/2023
Philosophy
MY IDEAS, VALUES AND PRINCIPLES ON CARING FOR CHILDREN IS BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE OF BEING A SECOND PROVIDER AND LEAD TEACHER IN A HOME DAY CARE SETTING FOR THE PAST 15 YEARS. WORKING WITH CHILDREN BY OBSERVING AND BEING ATTENTIVE TO THEIR NEEDS HAS GIVEN ME EXPERIENCE WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE. TO CONTINUE TO DEVELOP AN ONGOING OPPORTUNITY FOR MY OWN GROWTH AND LEARNING AS A TEACHER AND PROVIDER.
I BELIEVE AND VALUE HOW IMPORTANT IS THE GROWTH, CARE AND DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN FROM BIRTH TO PRESCHOOL AND BEYOND. AS A CHILD I REMEMBER HOW MUCH I WAS IMPACTED ENTERING A CLASSROOM OR PLAY CENTER. MY IMAGINATION WAS CHARGED WITH IDEAS OF PLAY. ART, MUSIC AND PRETEND PLAY, THESE ARE MY MOST PRECIOUS MEMORIES IN ELEMENTARY. I HAVE LEARNED THAT CHILDREN MOTIVATED BY THEIR NATURAL CURIOSITY AND DESIRE TO LEARN ALLOW FOR SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL, INTELLECTUAL AND PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT. AN ESSENTIAL PART OF CHILDHOOD IS PLAY. PLAY ALLOWS CHILDREN TO DEVELOP THE ABILITY TO MAKE JUDGEMENTS, PREDICTIONS, ANALYZE, FIND SOLUTIONS AND IMAGINE. WHEN CHILDREN PLAY, THEY TEST THEORIES AND GAIN SKILLS NECESSARY FOR READING, MATH AND SCIENCE. I BELIEVE THAT PLAYING IS OUR FIRST RESEARCH ACTIVITY AND THE FOUNDATION OF EARLY LEARNING.
AS A DAY CARE PROVIDER I WILL BE IMPLEMENTING MY PERSONAL VALUES BY BEING THE CHILDS TEACHER AND EXAMPLE PROVIDING PLENTY OF OPPORTUNITIES TO COMMUNICATE AND LEARN. I STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT CHILDREN THAT LEARN FROM AND EARLY AGE TO BE RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, KIND AND SAFE GROW WITH GREAT UNDERSTANDING. THEY WILL BE MORE KIND AND ACCEPTING OF THEMSELVES AND OTHERS REGARDING FEELING WISHES AND RIGHTS. THEY WILL LEARN TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEMSELVES, THEIR DOINGS AND OTHER’S PROPERTY. TO VALUE AND HAVE GOOD SELF AWARENESS OF WHO THEY WANT TO BE. THEY WILL LEARN TO BE RESPECTFUL TO THEIR ELDERS AND THOSE WHO WE ADMIRE FOR THEIR GREAT ACHIEVEMENTS AND STRIDE TO BE SOMEONE JUST AS GOOD OR BETTER. TO BE SAFE AND THOUGHTFUL TO LEARN KINDNESS, LOVE, ACCEPTANCE AND HAVE AN OPEN MIND AND HEART.

I will teach them about cause-and-effect, consequences and help them develop to sooth, self-regulate their emotions and develop social skills. How to share, how to be polite and taking turns will be taught.
