Philosophy
Children are our most precious resource and worthy of our greatest efforts. Our program was created and designed to help develop healthy, happy, responsible kids, i.e., where kids learn, laugh and grow! The mission of Gym Magic Kids Early Childhood Development Centers is to provide a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment in which young children will grow and thrive. We believe a positive learning attitude is one of the most valuable assets we or any institution can teach. We respect the unique family culture, heritage, language and beliefs each child brings. Every child has special learning abilities, and we are committed to building on these strengths by promoting a sense of belonging, positive social relationships and impacting the family with new advocacy skills.
The Toddlers Nursey program uses Frog Street Toddlers curriculum, inspired by Montessori strategies and techniques. The program is designed around the latest scientific early brain development research. The year-round program focuses on enhancing the simple joy of childhood while equipping caregivers to nurture curiosity through exploration. Frog Street Toddler, created by Dr. Pam Schiller, incorporates Dr. Becky Bailey’s Conscious Discipline® and includes 52 weeks of activity choices specifically created for children ages 12-36 months. Frog Street Toddler offers:
• Activity choices organized around five developmental domains • Differentiated instruction options to meet the needs of all learners • Easy infusion into daily routines, transitions and outdoor play • Designed with intention and purpose to move children forward in their development
All materials are available in English and Spanish.

About our program
The goals of our program are to: focus on your child’s development, growth and learning; and to provide the greatest opportunity for success in kindergarten and later school years. We support the full participation of every child through curriculum components that address dual language learners while exposing the children to sign language and various cultures from the world. We believe, and current research supports, that an academic curriculum combined with special physical activities leads to a healthy, well-balanced child. Therefore, we promote gross motor skills and activities that support brain development. Research has highlighted ‘executive function’ development in the brain as a predictor for success in school and has identified motor skills and eye-hand coordination as the best predictors for success in reading and math. The real value of our program is promoting the process of learning and the development of social relationships that will continue to have a positive effect on your child throughout their life. We believe movement and sensory stimulation are integral parts of learning; learning and the process of learning are intimately linked to movement. So even though our activities are fun, there is a very serious side to these movements that impact the developing brain!
