Philosophy

We are a non-profit, 5 STAR FOCUS program with the aim of having as many children publicly funded as possible. Children’s Garden Montessori School follows the guidelines and philosophy of the American Montessori Society, fostering a fully prepared learning environment where teachers interact with children and provide them with new materials. The curriculum offers diverse Montessori materials, long blocks of uninterrupted learning time, and activities promoting individual, small group, and whole class learning. Our classroom encourages social interaction, self-learning, and respect for oneself, others, and the environment. Adults role-model courtesy and facilitate independent choices, collaboration, and responsibility among the children, with the goal of igniting their innermost core through imagination.
